Star Avenue Studios Launches New After-Hours Band Rehearsal Service
We’re excited to announce a brand-new service at Star Avenue Studios. Our sound-treated Studio A is now open for bands, ensembles, and musicians looking for a larger, more flexible place to play.
Located just 10 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD, the studio has been home to countless film shoots and creative projects and now, we’re opening it up after hours for the music community.
Play as Loud as You Like
Unlike most rehearsal rooms in Adelaide, our space is fully sound-treated, providing musicians with the rare opportunity to rehearse at full volume without restrictions.
Whether you’re tightening up before a big gig, working through new material, or just want a space to let loose, you can turn it up and make it your own.
With ample space to spread out, bands can bring full rigs, drum kits, and backline gear comfortably. There’s easy load-in access through a high-clearance roller door, secure parking, and air conditioning to keep everyone comfortable during long sessions.
Designed for Flexibility
You can book weeknight or weekend sessions, choose between 3-hour, 4-hour, or full-night blocks, and bring your own gear.
Session Rates:
3-hour sessions (6–9 pm): $60
4-hour sessions (6–10 pm): $75
Full night block (5–11 pm): $110
Weekend 4-hour sessions: $85
Weekend 8-hour sessions: $170

At Star Avenue Studios, our mission has always been to support South Australian creatives, from filmmakers and photographers to artists and musicians. By opening up our studio for band rehearsals, we’re helping make professional creative spaces more accessible to the people who need them most.
We’ve seen firsthand how collaboration between art forms, film, music, design, and performance, strengthens our local industry. This new service is another way we’re making that happen.
